An Easter Tea Party

The Bunny has delivered his treats- but the fun isn’t over. Let the kids have a playful tea party. Decorate with cute crafts and serve easy foods for the most fun springtime fete. Tea Party On!
Tea Party Invitations:
Have your children make invitations to invite friends. Use colored paper, crayons and markers, letting them create masterpieces- drawing their favorite easter picture. Have children bring their favorite bunny!
Create a Setting:

Don’t forget the stuffed animals! Set them up on the couch with their own springtime feast. A miniature tea set, play pastries, and even a stuffed carrot will complete their party nicely
Decorations:
Easter Eggs
Dye eggs and stamp them or write on the kid’s names- use as place cards
Beautiful Blooms
Simple to make felt flowers look darling as a low maintenance high-impact decoration. Place them in the center of the table and let the children take one home as a party favor.
What you need:
Assorted colors of felt, ruler, scissors, floral wire, wire cutters, hot-glue gun.
Make it:
Draw two flowers one small and one big ( you can do it). Trace flowers onto felt. Cut them out and use as a template. Cut two large flowers from one color of felt and 2 small flowers from a different color. Stack with large flowers on bottom and insert an 8″ piece of wire through the center, leaving about 1/4′ exposed above flower. Cut a 1″ x 3″ piece of felt in a third color and fringe it lengthwise into 1/8″ wide strips, leaving 1/2″ uncut at bottom. Hot glue end of fringed pieces to the exposed wire, them wrap around tightly, gluing again at each rotation.
Stem:
Cut a 4″ piece of wire and twist one end around the middle of the 8″ wire stem, then bend the other end to form a 1″ loop. Cut a 1″ wide strip of felt that measures the length of the stem. Wrap it around the stem and secure with hot glue; trim excess. repeat to cover the wire leaf stem.
Leaves:
Cut 2 leaf shapes from felt. Glue the small leaf to the large leaf, and glue on top of wire loop.

What you need:
Assorted colors of felt ( including white), scissors, hot-glue gun, wire, plain headbands.
Make it:
Draw bunny ears. One small and one large- use as templates. Trace ears onto felt. Cut four big outer ears shapes from a different color of felt and two inner ear shapes from white felt. Glue wire between each of the outer ear shapes, secure edges with hot glue. Hot glue inner ears to outer ears. Wrap the bottom of each ear around a headband, setting them 2″ apart; secure with hot glue.
